Tau Training Terms & Conditions

1. Health & Safety Waiver
By participating in any Tau Training session, you agree to the Health & Safety Waiver. Physical activity carries risks, and you accept responsibility for your own health and wellbeing.
You confirm:You are medically fit to participate.You will disclose any injuries or conditions that may affect your ability to train safely.You release Tau Training and its coaches from liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, to the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law.
Note: This waiver does not override rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (see section 6).

2. Memberships & Payments
We offer the following flexible payment plans:
Weekly: $40/week
Fortnightly: $80/2 weeks
Monthly: $160/month
3-Month Upfront: $432 (10% discount)

All memberships are open-term unless otherwise stated. You can cancel or change your membership anytime via your member portal or by emailing support@tautraining.com before your next billing date.

3. Casual Class Rates
Casual sessions are available at $25 per class and must be booked in advance. Spaces are limited.

4. Personal Training
Custom personal training is offered at varying rates depending on your goals, format (1:1 or small group), and schedule.Session bookings are confirmed on payment and subject to availability.

5. Cancellations & RefundsGroup Sessions: No refunds for missed sessions. Please cancel at least 2 hours in advance where possible.

Personal Training: 24-hour cancellation notice required. Late cancellations may incur full charges.

Memberships: No partial refunds for unused time. Cancel before the next billing cycle to avoid charges.

3-Month Upfront Memberships
are non-refundable unless required under the Consumer Guarantees Act (e.g., if services are not provided with reasonable care or skill).

6. Consumer Rights (NZ Law)
Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the:
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
‍Fair Trading Act 1986
‍Privacy Act 2020

You are entitled to services that are provided with reasonable care, skill, and fit for purpose. If you believe we’ve not met these standards, please contact us so we can resolve the issue.

7. Privacy & Data
We collect personal information (e.g., name, contact info, emergency contact) solely for the purpose of delivering safe and effective training.Your data is securely stored and never sold or shared.You can request access to or correction of your personal data by contacting support@tautraining.com.

8. Code of Conduct
Tau Training is built on culture, community, and respect. All members and visitors are expected to:
Respect staff and fellow members
Arrive on time and prepared
Follow safety instructions
Uphold the mana of the space
We reserve the right to remove access to services in cases of repeated or serious breaches.

9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We’ll notify members of material changes via email.

Continued use of our services means you accept the latest version of these Terms.
